You can’t. If you were able to view it anywhere it would be on Google books which publishes entire texts of public domain works like Dracula or the Bible. Unfortunately for you, the book still has a copy right and only a preview if anything at all will be available.

Cheap College Textbooks?
I am in need of Hole’s Essentials of Human Anatomy and Physiology 10th ed. Textbook and Lab book. I can’t find these books anywhere..including ebay and amazon. I have to pay out of pocket for the summer semester, so I need them cheaper than what I can get them for at my college’s bookstore. If anyone knows good, reliable websites that I can get these from for cheap, or has these books…can you please help me out. I need the textbook to have as little writing and highlighting as possible, and the lab book not to have any writing or highlighting in it. Thanks for everyone’s help!!!!!!

Half.com, Barnes and Noble (they sell used books), Also you may want to ask the pro. If you can buy the 9th or even the 8th edition (way cheaper, same material).

Chris asks…
Can you please proofread my college essay?
Choose an issue of importance to you?the issue could be personal, school related, local, political, or international in scope?and write an essay in which you explain the significance of that issue to yourself, your family, your community, or your generation.
Maria Mitchell stated that ?we have a hunger of the mind which asks for knowledge of all around us, and the more we gain, the more is our desire; the more we see, the more we are capable of seeing.? These words of wisdom elucidate how I have lived my life and how I continue to live it; from the moment I was born to the instant my breath gets taken away. Knowledge, intelligence, creativity and imagination are all essential components to our lives, especially to me and my family mainly because our minds have a miraculous yet unknown potential that a lot of us take for granted. The intriguing minds that we are all armed with enable us to do an inestimable amount of things in life.
Personally, I have always seemed to value the knowledge and creativity that has endlessly emerged from others and stretched from person to person, almost like a virus replicating its DNA. Ever since I was a freshman in high school, I always aspired of becoming a cardiothoracic surgeon primarily due to the medical field constantly being inundated with more and more updates and unyielding outbreaks in research. With such a career in a knowledge-filled field, I will be able to augment upon my knowledge and creativity and utilize it towards the research of many incurable diseases and conditions such as cancer and Alzheimer?s. Furthermore, the challenging nature of a surgeon will help motivate me to study persistently and encourage me to read and stay up-to-date with the medical field. Despite the fact that I want to become a surgeon, knowledge and imagination are so prevailing in everyday life that they can assist in the development of many helpful inventions to mankind. Although it can be used in unethical means, we can apply it in such a manner that it will only be beneficial to life and our surroundings. From my perspective, I view knowledge, intelligence, creativity and imagination as the four advantageous pillars of life, the only entities that will last forever in a sense that somehow and someway any human being on this planet can impact their surroundings for the generations to come. If you think about it, what else in this life will last forever? After we die? The answer is something we leave behind in the form of knowledge or imagination through something we created with that imagination and/or knowledge. As a result, I?ve been encouraging myself to read whatever interests me and write whatever comes to mind and share it with my family, which brings me to my influential nature. Just as soon as I started reading about dementia, I always feared that someone in my family might get it. So to stop the worrying, I developed a daily mental stimulation activity that incorporated either math or science related games or activities in order to stimulate our minds and constantly keep it active to prevent my family from getting dementia. Although my family does love to read and write almost every day of their lives, I always share what I read in my pathology or anatomy and physiology textbook with my family so that we can learn something new every day and utilize it some way as they do the same. Along with these fundamental activities, I am also trying to incorporate a family ?game night? that is comprised of playing Sudoku or some other mentally stimulating game in addition to exercising different portions of the brain. Additionally, whenever my mind is not in use or is just relaxing, I dictate random facts to myself and memorize the squares of several numbers and recalling the digits of pi. I also like to share my knowledge and imagination with others through tutoring or just randomly giving out random facts and frequently enjoy going on Wikipedia almost every day and read something and add on to it and later share the article with my family.
Evidently, through my writing you can see how much I value the knowledge, intelligence, creativity and imagination we all have, particularly my family and I. My family?s minds are always ambitious to gain more knowledge and intelligence and eager to improve and utilize our creativity and imagination to see what is outside the box.
Thank you for your time! I truly appreciate every second! =)

I loved the essay BUT NEVER EVER EVER ADDRESS THE READER!!!!!!! Take the you out of there but the questions are ok. A bit of run-ons especially towards the end. I do think you might need to watch your word limit since these essays usually have them. The conclusion of your statement really speaks to your personality and you do a good at exposing yourself to the reader. A person who takes action and isn’t inactive when new information comes across you. You project a good image and should be able to get in. I think the first sentences should be cut down a bit and refocused on yourself. Other than that I enjoyed the essay and think you are a gifted writer. The first sentence of the last paragraph : “Evidently, through my writing you can see how much I value the knowledge, intelligence, creativity and imagination we all have, particularly my family and I”. This sentence makes you sound arrogant, rephrase it.

What is a good book to learn muscles/bones of the human body?
I took an Anatomy & Physiology class during my Junior year of high school. The book that I had back then was pretty good, and it covered all of the muscles and bones of the body, and movement-related terms like pronation, supination, etc. The next year, my friend took the same class, and so I let her borrow the book, with the agreement that she would return it at the end of the year, or buy it from me. (She was also supposed to let me borrow her book for another class, but she gave it to someone else, ha ha.)
But yeah, she never gave the book back (or paid me for it, for that matter), and I can’t remember the name of the book.
But I don’t really need something as detailed as an entire Anatomy textbook–I just want to re-learn the muscles/bones/movement terms. If an Anatomy book is the only thing that will give me what I want, though, then I’d be fine with one of those, too.
Does anybody have any suggestions? I would rather have a book, but a website might be better, now that I think about it, since that might be free.

HELP! Question about Blood Brain Barrier (BBB).?
Can anyone explain how does the Blood-Brain Barrier work?
This is from my textbook, but i can’t understand a word from it. ><. Can anyone translate it to human words for me?
“Bloodborn substances in the brain’s capillaries are separated from the extracellular space and neurons by (1) the continuous endothelium of the capillary wall, (2) a relatively thick basal lamina surrounding the external face of each capillary, and (3) the bulbous “feet” of the astrocytes clinging to the capillaries. The capillary endothelial cells are almost seamlessly joined all around by tight junctions, making them the least permearble capillaries in the body, a characteristic that consitutes most (it not all) of the blood-brain barrier. …” (Human Anatomy & Physiology, Marieb, E. N., Hoehn, K.)
I also want to know what role does the ‘basal lamina’ play in this situation.
admin answers:
BBB is a membranic structure that acts primarily to protect the brain from chemicals in the blood, while still allowing essential metabolic function. It is composed of endothelial cells, which are packed very tightly in brain capillaries.
The functions of the basal lamina are regeneration, repair and aggregation of epithelia

"There is a small but growing group of teachers who are jumping on board with reverse instruction. Jon Bergman and Aaron Sams have been leading the way for several years now.
I have been implementing this teaching strategy in my high school Anatomy and Physiology class for the past two years and have learned some very valuable lessons which I have shared on my blog: http://electriceducator.blogsp…"
