All right so i be wondering more or less becoming an OB nurse.?
I know you have to be an RN and i am doing schooling for that right now, but after you go and get your RN liscense, what training do you need to do to become an OB nurse? does the place you get hired at train you or are near specific classes and schools you have to stir to?

Allied Health Advice: RT?
I am seriously considering becoming an RT and would like to apply to a program. Im pretty scared of the Anat & Phys. I took the course and I did go and get an A, but do not remember anything. I basically did what I have to do to pass the course, but didn’t memorize much. Can a professional out there impart me some advice? Will most of my learning be on the duty?

I’m a senior in High School and plan to be a nurse. My reasons are: I am biddable at helping people and it’s something I am good at. Another drive is I’m not sure of what I want to be so I want to try it first. And it wouldn’t be bad because it’s good research experience in life even if it turn out that I don’t close to it. For example I would learn what to do in a situation specifically life threatening and learning roughly speaking people and how the world works. Third, we’re in a recession presently. So I think nurse would be a great job for deposit. Also my family has low income, I want to work because my parents are getting ancient. They are in their 40s. Also, it’s impossible to do anything you like if you don’t hold money. I want to learn how to swim, skate, and other interesting topics such as law. I want to depend on myself to gross my own money and do the things I want to do. What do you think? I don’t want to go into nursing solitary for the money. But I think it would be a great experience, and money is a good benefit.

I have been next to my job for about two years. The truth of the issue is that I hate it but I am so nice of a person I revulsion quitting cause I always touch like I am letting people down. I work as a secretary at a dairy farm for a family which isn’t a easy article to do. When I first started I thought I can learn here futher my education. Have you taken an A&P class online?
The class is full at the school. The only other option is to take it online or try to get in next semester. This is the ONLY class I can take right now because it is the last prerequisite I need to get into the nursing program. I have heard it is near impossible to make above a C because it is more difficult “teaching yourself” this course…
My questions are:
Have you taken Anatomy and Physiology online?
How do you participate in the “lab” portion of the course online?
What do you study? Definitions? Are there 3-D models/pictures?
What can I expect from an online A&P course?
What other information can you tell me that may help me make a decision on whether or not to take this class online or to hold off on school this semester and hope for the A&P class next semester…?
My computer is a little slow, but it works. I am nervous about relying on a machine to help me complete my A&P course… I know nothing about online classes, and A&P is a difficult class to take in person, let alone online… I’m just trying to get as much information as possible before making a decision. Which class should I take — AP Spanish Language, Anatomy and Physiology, or Debate?
I’m going to be in 10th gr. next year and I can’t decide which one. Is AP Spanish hard? I read parts of the test online and it seems difficult compared to where I am now – I’m not the best at Spanish and I’m sick of it after 4 years of it.
I’m considering being a doctor so that’s why I might take Anatomyand Physiology Honors but it seems like you just memorize parts of the body.
Then again, I’m already taking 2 other AP courses so I might want to take an easier class like Debate 1 Honors although I’ll have to attend competitions out of school…
If you have any experience or recommend any of the prior please answer!
If you are planning on being a doctor, Ashley, you need to ask your guidance counselor at school to recommend a course of study which will allow you to get into a good college, and eventually go to medical school. I have a brother who is currently in med school as we speak- he is a second year intern, and for him the most important thing in high school was taking lots of science and math courses. That’s why you should probably consider taking AP Anatomy and Physiology, as opposed to more Spanish or the Debate class. Debating is a useful skill if you are planning to go into law, business, or politics, but it’s not really applicable to medicine, because you won’t be doing much in the way of public speaking in that field unless you happen to be a surgeon.
There’s more to anatomy and physiology than just memorizing body parts, Ashley. I had to take that class myself when I started my training as a medical coder, and I know from experience that it is not all about memorization. You will get to explore all of the systems of the human body in detail, and see how they all work. You also will have a chance to see how disease and injuries impact the human body and what effects they have. Anatomy classes also cover topics like reproduction, the aging process, birth, growth and development in the baby and young child, an introduction to genetics and the laws of heredity, and many other topics. You may even get a chance to touch on some of the aspects of evolutionary theory in that class, because these days, it’s almost impossible to study biology and not have a discussion of that topic at some point. Anatomy and biology are closely related to one another- so much so, in fact, that anatomy is actually considered to be a branch of biology by some professionals. A class like this would be much more relevant to someone like you who is thinking of going into medicine- and I have a hunch you will enjoy it far more than you would the debate class or Spanish.

Is it possible to find Answer keys online? I know it would be cheating but I would still like to know if its possible. I use to have an Anatomy & Physiology book from Elaine Marieb I think when I took that class a year ago….so is it possible and don’t be rude because I don’t even take that class anymore…my sister takes it now.
