What is an anatomy & physiology project that I could do about either energy drinks or muscle enhancement ?
i need to do a research, science fair like project for my 12th grade anatomy and physiology class. the topics i was interested in doing were energy drinks(red bull, monster, etc) or muscle enhancement(protein, creotine, steroids). can someone give me ideas on what is a good project i could do? thank you in advance for your help

I don’t know much about energy drinks but, if I say so myself, I am an expert when it comes to muscle building.
You could always do a science experiment on yourself to demonstrate how the human body converts fuel (food) into muscle. You need to take a before picture of yourself, weigh yourself, etc.
Then follow a strict workout and weight lifting routine and when you are done photograph the results. Then, write the report about the physiological processes that allow the body to make muscle from food.
That would be my suggestion.

Should I take organic chemistry and anatomy & physiology at the same time?
I’m planning out my sophomore year, and I’m thinking about taking o-chem and A&P (anatomy and physiology) at the same time. Is this wise? Best answer would go to the person who lists the pros and cons.
If it helps:
Both o-chem and A&P are year long courses.
I’m on the pre-med Bio major track.

Well, I just finished my sophomore year of college and I am on the same career path as you.
Really, its up to you. Can you handle it? Are you dedicated enough? That’s really all it is.
Also, It depends what other classes are you taking… If you’re taking organic, anatomy, and a math at the same time? That might be fine. However you may want to think about taking A&P 1 in the spring because it gives you a chance to relax with organic 1 and get a good foundation to rape orgo 2 with a heavier course load.
With orgo 1 I took it with trig, ancient myth (joke), and psych (joke).
With orgo 2 I took it with public speaking (bitch class), stats, and nutrition (hard).
As you can see I took a 2 sciences and a math my second orgo semester and I did very well. And to be honest I am not a smart smart kid.
I got an A’s in both orgo’s, I found it way better then gen chem. If you put the time aside, you’ll do fine no matter what.

looking to go to school in mid michigan for health education/anatomy & physiology 2 become a fitness trainer. just need help finding a school that offers those courses? thanks everyone!

Michigan State University has a good kinesiology program. You can major in athletic training or exercise science. This is a solid 4-year degree with lots of career options including personal training.
The program has a strong emphasis on anatomy, with a lab-based human anatomy course. There are a lot of anatomy and physiology courses and related courses available at MSU.
