Your Questions About Anatomy Of Physiology 10th Edition

Mary asks…
Will turnitin detect my plagarism?
I need to turn in an outline on pregnancy and my text book, “Hole’s Human Anatomy and Physiology” 10th Edition, has a perfect outline for the pregnancy section that would be PERFECT for my project.
The whole project is a powerpoint due at the end of the year, but for now she just wants an outline. Of course i’ll research the topic and become knowledgeable, for we have to present… but there’s not much time left and i need an extensive outline. If i copy the outline and turn it in to turnitin.com will it be detected? More than likely, right? Turnitin has access to my textbook, right? If it doesn’t, would me rewording it trick the system?
I know this isn’t the right thing to do, but its not like i’m not learning or anything… i’d probably end up rewording some other document instead, this is just more convienient.
admin answers:
Make your own outline.
No matter how poorly done, it can be fixed in the next part of the project.
A poor grade is better than an X.

Robert asks…
anatomy and physiology..(anterior..superior etc)?
Anatomy and physiology questions! HEEEEEEEEELPP… (ANTERIOR.. SUPERIOR ETC..)?
So I am doing lab review sheet 1 from human anatomy and physiology laboratory manual ninth edition by elaine n. marieb and susan j mitchell…
i’ve done most of it but i’m not sure if i got it right…
but for number 6:
several incomplete statements are listed below. correctly complete each statement by choosing the appropriate anatomical term from the key. record the key letters and/or term on the correspondingly numbered blanks below.
key:
a- anterior
b- distal
c. frontal
d. interior
3. lateral
f. medial
g. posterior
h. proximal
i. sagittal
j. superior
k. transverse
In the anatomical position, the face and palms are on the (ANTERIOR) body surface; the buttocks and shoulder blades are on the (POSTERIOR) body surface; and the top of the head is the most (SUPERIOR) part of the body. The ears are (MEDIAL) and (LATERAL) to the shoulders and (ANTERIOR) TO THE NOSE. The heart is (ANTERIOR) to the vertebral columpn spine and (SUPERIOR) to the lungs. The elbow is (SUPERIOR) TO THE FINGERS BUT (INFERIOR) TO THE SHOULDER. The abdominopelvic cavity is (INFERIOR) to the thoracic cavity and (DISTAL) to the spinal cavity. In humans, the dorsal surface can also be called the (VENTRAL) surface; however in quadruped animals, the dorsal surface is the (POSTERIOR) surface.
If an incision cuts the heart into right and left parts, the section is a (SAGITTAL) section; but if the heart is cut so that superior and inferior portions result, the sections is a (TRANSVERSE) section. You are told to cut a dissection animal along two planes so that kidneys are obseravable in each section. The two sections that will always meet this requirement are the (FRONTAL) and (SAGITTAL) sections. A section that demostrates the continuity between the spinal and cranial cavities is a (TRANSVERSE) section.
The answers that I thought it was are in parentheses and in caps. Please help me out if you can. I’d really appreciate it, thanks in advance.
I also don’t know the answers to
12. Which organ system would nto be represented in any of the body cavities?
14. Which body cavity affords the least protection to its internal structures?

It’s been quite awhile for the section questions, so I can’t help much with those. It might not be a bad idea to review the proximal-distal concept for limbs.
12. I don’t know what your text says; this may be a bit of a trick question. Skin is usually considered an organ (the largest), and it is not found within cavities.
14. Think: no bony surround to the organs, just soft tissue…

I agree. LIS schools shouldn’t be factories producing scores of grads whose key qualifications is that they were able to pay for two years of classes. It waters down the value of the degree. If you don’t have basic computer skills, you should find a way to get those skills before entering the program in the same way a med student might have to take pre-requisites like anatomy and physiology before entering med school. And a med school would never graduate someone who said “well I shouldn’t have to learn about anti-biotics… I want to be a psychiatrist.” That professional degree demands well-rounded experts–why should the MLS professional degree demand less? This isn’t a problem with the student base, it is a problem with the admissions, the grading… we need to raise the bar.
yes, it will flag up matches and then you will fail. Just turn in what you can make up and say you have been busy. Its just an outline.
Have you tried the 'Sociology In Focus' book?? Think it's by Haralambos. Take a look on google or amazon (sorry, I would but I'm just way too tired!)
And postmodernism is to do with sociology!

Respectfully disagree. Poorly articulated or incomplete theological statements produce unnecessary debates.
How do you explain: *the metabolic changes the obese participants had with decreased calories per square meter of their body surface *the inheritableness of the trait and the twin study findings?

When I boot up my R4i after I do everything in that list, when I highlight the game and then press Y, it goes to a screen with 3 folders called: ….. , /Games , /MOONSHL2. I press Y again and it does nothing. It shows nothing about a save type or anything.

26 of 35 people found the following review helpful: Required for a semester, but keeps for a lifetime, June 29, 2004By Stephanie “crazygrrl1369″ (Colorado, USA) – Amazon Verified Purchase(What’s this?) This review is from: Understanding Nutrition, Ninth Edition (Hardcover) Overall, I found this text to be chocked full of helpful knowledge. I was required to purchase this book for a course I took in beginning nutrition, but I will keep it forever because of the wealth of knowledge. The concepts are suburbly explained and illustrations make understanding the information easier. Even though most people buy this for a class, I believe it is easy to read and assimilate the information. The Appendices are chocked full of useful facts about the current diet and exchange lists, including food pyramids and such. The only information I disagree with is the section on vegetarianism. Surely they could have done a better job and included more than four pages! However, there are plenty of books dedicated solely to vegetarians/vegans that would be more important and informative.
haha I'm still getting over the 1st pregnancy I had c section so nooooooot yet!! ☺

Except every system is "incomplete" in sense there will be statements that will be unprovable;Godel's proof is a beauty.
I thought, therefore I was. Existence can be experienced without the "me" or "my thoughts"
That was cool! You should do more, her shoulder blades really pop out far.
Well, the fact that the ninth edition is out kills my hope of selling my seventh edition for anything more than $1. Thanks for the buzzkill.
You want birth control- Just attend Dr. Ulbrights pregnancy section of bio N214… Whoa.
Poor posture is a result of weakness of the muscles between the shoulder blades. Try this exercise out.
